A Grand Finale to a Grand Week

TOD-FINALE-PARTY-9-30-14You’re invited to the Dunedin Restaurant Week Grand Finale Party on Tuesday, Sept. 30, from 6 to 9 p.m. at The Living Room on Main. The party gives participants and interested diners one last exciting evening to celebrate the success of the 2nd annual Dunedin Restaurant Week. There’ll be entertainment for all to enjoy, and food and drinks will be available.

The results of the voting for the Platinum Plate Awards for Best Chef, Best Restaurant and Best Event Promoter will be announced during the party. And winners will be chosen from all the entry forms for people who are eligible to win the Grand Prize stay at Beso Del Sol Resort and the many other exciting prizes donated by Dunedin’s generous merchants and restaurateurs. These prize winners do not need to be present, but it might be fun to hear your name announced!

There is no admission charge, but everyone who is interested can purchase raffle tickets to benefit HEP, Clearwater’s Homeless Emergency Project, this year’s event charity. More prizes will be added to make buying those tickets worthwhile—as if supporting this worthy cause wasn’t worthwhile enough. And all the winners will be announced during the Party.

The Homeless Emergency Project ( HEP) has been recognized as a national model of excellence as it strives to be the last shelter an individual, veteran, or family ever has to enter. HEP is the only social service agency of its type in the Tampa Bay area which offers the full continuum of shelter care for the entire homeless population. Beginning with up to 30 days of temporary housing for up to 390 people, HEP makes it possible for individuals, veterans and families to move forward into more permanent living situations and to get their lives permanently on track.

HEP is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Since 1986, its mission has been to provide homeless and very low-income individuals and families with housing, food, clothing and support services necessary to obtain self-sufficiency and improved quality of life. It has been designated as one of the top three charities in the Tampa Bay area this year.
